Rocksmith (2014) (Steam) on Linux

Today was the second time ever I got Rocksmith to run on proton/linux. I've done it once before on then-latest Fedora around 2018, but stuff happened and I've since installed Arch at least twice on top of that OS. I recall it being a horrible pain in the arse to make it work back then. Today, on latest Arch, using these instructions it just worked.

Tinker Steps: Custom Proton: GE-Proton10-21, Set launch options, Changed configuration, protontricks PIPEWIRE_LATENCY=256/48000 gamemoderun %command% from here: Install pavucontrol and gamemode Connect the Real Tone Cable Go to Pavucontrol/Settings and turn off Rocksmith Guitar Adapter protontricks 221680 sound=alsa protontricks 221680 winecfg, Win version Win7 and on the Audio panel set all output to Default and Input to Rocksmith In Rocksmith.ini set both ExclusiveMode and Win32UltraLowLatencyMode to 0 (zero) (to set your input volume, use alsamixer in terminal, F6 to choose Rocksmith Adapter and F4 for capture) Add the Launch Options
